In the CT Spotlight: Liz Toms

It’s the fifth Saturday of May, so we’re turning the spotlight on one of our talented Creative Team members: Liz Toms. A trip through Liz’s gallery is a treat for the eyes, filled with wonderfully layered pages celebrating her life and her sweet grandchildren. Two Creative Team members and I had fun finding pages by Liz to lift. Here are Liz’s pages and our lifts.

Amy (Amy L) chose to lift Liz’s Selfie page and focused on photos of two adorable munchkins who came for her son’s wedding. Both pages employ layers of goodies and circular elements in the background with plenty of room for journaling.

Beckie (mungerre) lifted Liz’s Quiet Moment page to highlight her photo of a baby raccoon in one of their backyard trees. I love how the patterned paper strips in the background and the other elements of both pages all work together to draw attention to the photo.

When I browsed through Liz’s terrific gallery, I was drawn to her Only You page for the cute masked photo highlighted with stitching and for the edge treatments on the text paper. I made use of Katie’s cool blendable layers and went a little crazy with all those goodies.
