Heritage Challenge: In Honor of Fathers

I am following Lynn’s [grandma lynnie] lead from last month; with Father’s Day coming up on the 17th of this month, we are dedication our challenge for June to Father, Dad, Daddy, Pops and Papas everywhere.

“He didn’t tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.”    ~  Clarence Budington Kelland

Merrilee [ digigrandma }, Carol [ carollee ] and I . . . Mollie  [ readstoomuch ] have created pages about our fathers.  I hope that you will join us this month with pages of your own about your father or grandfather.

I get such a kick out of Carol’s layouts . . . her keen sense of humor and love of people pours from her pages.  “Dad . . . Oh Dear” is no exception . . . you will love the sweet and funny story told by Carol so lovingly about her darling dad!

Merrilee is making a heritage album for her husband and found that one photograph in particular would make a perfect layout for the challenge this week about fathers.  You will fall in love with Merr’s father-in-law & mother-in-law after seeing her fabulous photograph.  I think that Merr should include the adjectives she uses to describe her husband’s dad on her page somewhere!

My layout used a couple of photographs of me and my daddy made when I was only a year old.  The photos brought memories to me about the person that my daddy was and all he was to me then and now.
