Getting Artsy with Digital Scrapbooking: Take Three

There are so many ways to bring artsy into our digital scrapbook pages. This time around Katie has made it even easier for us, she is giving us 3 beautifully artsy items and the challenge is to use all of them on your page. Here is the link to the download, make sure to snatch them up. I am sure you will agree that it’s a breeze to put together a beautiful page using this wonderful freebie:

I have a couple of examples for you

Chrissy (kikimama) used the large leaf behind her photo and clipped a paper to her mask. It’s the perfect color! I love the large branch and the faded text on the left hand side. I love the little strips of text above and below her photo. Talk about artsy! Here is what she used on her page:

and the supplies I used:

As you can see, I used the mask with a paper just a shade darker than my background. I duplicated the frame, shrunk it down a bit and placed it at the opposite end. I changed the color of the leaf to match the green in the photo. I do like the overall effect, artsy with not too many items used.

I hope you feel inspired and participate in the challenge. Please post your finished page in the Artsy Challenge Gallery .

Don’t forget to add a link to your page in the October challenges participation thread

I hope to see you in the gallery 🙂 and thanks for playing along!
