I Was Framed! A Saturday Scraplift Challenge

This layout that Maureen (maureenreynolds), designed to celebrate her college graduation, just made me smile! I love the special journaling, the bold title and the chunky frame. That’s why I chose it for this week’s Saturday Scraplift!

CT member Carol (carollee) designed a soft and sweet layout of her husband and their adorable little newborn grandchild. I really like the texture Carol was able to achieve while keeping her layout baby soft. The addition of the photo corners and worn page edges are perfect!

Carol’s supplies: Loved One Worn Paper Pack, Catana Solids Paper Pack, Pencil Twist Arrows Brushes and Stamps No 2, Classic Deckled Photo Frames No 1, Banner Strips No 1, Watery Patterned Masks Brushes and Stamps No 1, Photo Corner Colors No 2, Vintage Journal Spots No 2, This Day Brushes.

I love the workshop Bailey (starlite 9711) had put together for this great photo of her son’s special toy. Those scattered nails are very unexpected and my favorite part of her layout, right after that cute photo!

Bailey’s supplies: Krafty Guys Collection, Drawn Sentiment Spots No 1, Lakeland Alpha, Brielle Alpha, Home Handyman Kit.

I’ve been waiting to scrap this cute letter my grandson wrote to his parents for a school assignment. Maureen’s bold title and frame inspired me to finally get it scrapped!
