Currently . . .

It’s time for some art, and some journaling. May’s ArtJournal challenge will be to create a page on the topic of “currents.” For example – currently I’m doing this, or would love to see that, etc. You can do it in whichever style you like and on any subject you’d like. Make a list or make it a free form. The only requirement will be to use at least one of the products in this nice freebie pack that Katie has put together for us:

Here are some examples that our creative team has put together:

Deborrah created this page, using a list of her current obsessions. What a great design, to combine some fun photos as examples of items on her list. The products used in this page include: Dictionary Paper Pack No.1, Journal Keepers Layered Templates No. 09, and Life Lines Scrapbooking Kit

Linda chose to journal some thoughts about what’s happening in her life right now in this pretty geometric design. She included some new products: Meriam Ridge ARToptions Paper Pack, Blendable Layers No. 69, and Watery Splashes No. 01 Brushes and Stamps. Also used were: Garden Trails Stitch Pack, Vintage Garden Element Pack No.1, Winter Journal Labels No.1, Fall Journal Labels No.1, Documenting Life Notebook Daily Layered Template No. 01, and Drop Shadow Styles No.2.

Like Deborrah, I chose the numbered list freebie and used key words with short responses based on what I was feeling and doing on that particular day. Products for this page include: Documenting Life Notebook Daily Layered Template No.2, (coming soon) Garden Trails Paper Pack, Garden Trails Solid Paper Pack, Dating 2017 Brushes and Stamps, Counting Days Labels No. 01: Red, Blendable Layers Composite Paper Pack No. 05, and Page Fades Clipping Masks No.1.

I hope this has inspired you to share what is currently on your mind. If so, please post your pages in the Art Journal Challenge Gallery. Also remember you can join in with the reward scheme by using all Designer Digitals products, and posting in the rewards challenge thread for May to earn shopping discounts!
