Apple Cider. Pumpkin Pie. Cinnamon and Spice. What are some of the smells that remind you of fall? For this months color challenge I am using an image of my own. My daughter had a pumpkin project and she gathered together various items to make her pumpkin. She used various items from the kitchen as well as the yard. These colors together make a fun color palette and our dear friend Debi requested I use this image for a color challenge. First up we have Debi (beehive50) showing how she used the colors! Debi always amazes me with how she attaches various items to a page. The large clip and branch are a wonderful example! Her journaling is very creative as the lines vary from side to side. In a way, it reminds me of the scattered items in the inspiration photo.Supplies used: Metsa Solids Paper Pack, Not Your Average Day Brushes and Stamps, Clipped Stacks No. 13, Flair Minis No. 02, Color Inspiration Freebie Pack
Hillarey (hillareyd) also stepped up to the challenge. I adore how the light background reflects the light background of the inspiration photo. The fall leaves and brushes are the perfect touch. How cute is Jojo in these photos! I (KimR+) took advantage of this color challenge to document my daughters school project. She was so proud of her hard work (as was I) so of course I took photos. I enjoy color and layers so naturally my page is filled with both.
