It is hard to believe, but September arrives tomorrow! Fall is in the air around here with cooler temps and a chance to open up the windows and turn off the AC. Today being the 5th Saturday in August, it is time to lift one of our own creative team members, Anke (anke). She is a master with both Project Life pages and her own artsy style of scrapbooking. You will want to peruse her wonderful gallery for today’s inspiration. Select a layout that you want to lift and have fun creating your own page.
Several of our guest team members took off with this challenge and created some beautiful pages!
Anke’s page,Sunshine, caught Sylvia’s (smcloone) eye.
Sylvia’s layout is gorgeous and rich in elements and textures! I love the way the fine line twist connects the entire right edger to the bottom corner photo. Really nicely done and the little wood veneer car is darling. After reading her journaling, I think their road trip was a success and how cool that her daughter created a “mom” playlist for the trip!

Addie (agoymerac) chose this page of Anke’s to lift.
I adore Addie’s photo of her son swimming with a dolphin! The watercolor splashes seem to spill right out of the scribbly frame. She even included a watery map. How cool! Great title and beautiful layout!

Two of Anke’s pages inspired Grace (GraceJ)
Here is her Grace’s sweet layout! Isn’t that cat beautiful! The glows on the dark background are fabulous and I love the repeated word art at the top left. I think her title on the pretty frame is clever and of course, who doesn’t love a stapled heart!

I am a huge fan of white space, which Anke does so well. Here is the page that inspired me.
Not only was I inspired by Anke’s white space, I also loved how she used the word art placed in an “L” shape around her photo. Here is my layout.
